Our products

We make reasonable efforts to describe and display our products accurately. However, photographs, packaging, colors, dimensions, and other visual details may appear differently depending on your device or screen.

Coffee is an agricultural product. Natural variations can occur between harvests and batches, including differences in aroma, flavor, appearance, density, and other sensory characteristics.

Descriptions such as “chocolate,” “caramel,” “hazelnut,” “citrus,” or similar tasting notes describe sensory characteristics of the coffee and do not necessarily indicate that those ingredients or flavorings have been added, unless we expressly state otherwise.

Roast dates, origins, varieties, processes, elevations, tasting notes, and other coffee information are provided based on the information available for the applicable lot or product and may vary between releases.

We may modify, discontinue, limit, or replace products at any time without prior notice. Product availability is not guaranteed.

Orders

Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.

We reserve the right, subject to applicable law, to accept, reject, limit, or cancel an order, including in cases involving:

• Suspected fraud or unauthorized activity
• Incorrect product or pricing information
• Product availability
• Payment issues
• Quantities that appear inconsistent with personal use
• Activity that violates these Terms

If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, we will issue any applicable refund to the original payment method.

We may also limit quantities purchased per person, household, payment method, account, or shipping address.

Personal purchases and resale

Products purchased through our consumer website are intended for personal or household use unless otherwise stated.

Purchasing ALTEREGO products for unauthorized commercial resale is prohibited.

Businesses interested in serving, stocking, distributing, or reselling ALTEREGO products should purchase through our authorized wholesale program and may be subject to separate wholesale terms and conditions.

Prices, payments, and taxes

Prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the website and may vary depending on your market or location.

We may change prices at any time. Changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted unless required to correct an obvious error and permitted by applicable law.

Applicable shipping charges, taxes, duties, or other fees will be displayed at checkout when available.

You authorize us and our payment service providers to charge the payment method you provide for your purchase, including applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other amounts disclosed at checkout.

You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted with your order.

Currency conversion rates or fees imposed by your bank, card issuer, or other payment provider are outside our control.

Shipping and delivery

Shipping destinations, methods, estimated delivery times, costs, and other shipping conditions are described in our Shipping & Returns Policy.

Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed unless we expressly state otherwise.

Delays may occur because of carriers, weather, customs, high order volumes, incorrect addresses, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Returns, refunds, and order issues

Returns, refunds, replacements, damaged packages, lost packages, incorrect orders, and other order-related issues are governed by our Shipping & Returns Policy.

Subscriptions

Certain ALTEREGO products may be offered through an automatically renewing subscription.

When you purchase a subscription, you authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method at the price and frequency shown to you before checkout, together with any applicable shipping charges and taxes.

Your subscription will continue until it is canceled, paused, or otherwise terminated in accordance with the terms presented when you subscribe.

Available subscription frequencies, discounts, pricing, benefits, and product availability may change over time as permitted by applicable law.

The terms governing recurring charges, cancellations, skips, pauses, changes, and other subscription matters are described in our Subscription Policy, which forms part of these Terms for subscription purchases.

You may manage eligible subscription settings through your customer account or through the cancellation methods described in our Subscription Policy.

Canceling a subscription does not automatically cancel an order that has already been processed or prepared for fulfillment, subject to our Subscription Policy and applicable law.

Promotions and discounts

From time to time, we may offer promotional codes, discounts, gifts, special pricing, referral programs, or other promotions.

Promotions may be subject to additional eligibility requirements, expiration dates, exclusions, minimum purchase amounts, geographic restrictions, or other conditions disclosed at the time of the promotion.

You retain ownership of your User Content.

By submitting User Content directly to our Services, you grant ALTEREGO a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, adapt, publish, and distribute that content for purposes related to operating, improving, marketing, and promoting ALTEREGO and our products, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit the User Content and that it does not infringe the rights of another person.

We may remove User Content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or applicable law.

Intellectual property

The Services and their contents, including the ALTEREGO name, logos, symbols, packaging designs, graphics, photography, videos, illustrations, text, product names, website design, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to ALTEREGO and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may access the Services for personal, non-commercial use.

Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of or a license to use ALTEREGO trademarks, trade dress, copyrighted material, or other intellectual property except as expressly authorized by us in writing.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, exploit, or create derivative works from our content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Prohibited uses

You may not use the Services to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights
• Submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or unlawful information

Our online store is powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce infrastructure used to offer our products and Services to you.

Food and product information

ALTEREGO sells coffee and may offer other food, beverage, or related products.

Please read all product labels, ingredient information, preparation instructions, warnings, and other information provided with a product before consuming or using it.

Coffee generally contains caffeine unless expressly identified as decaffeinated or otherwise stated. Individual responses to caffeine and other food or beverage products vary.

Information provided through our Services is intended for general informational purposes and is not medical or nutritional advice.

If you have questions concerning a medical condition, pregnancy, allergies, dietary restrictions, caffeine sensitivity, or the suitability of a product for you, you should consult an appropriate healthcare professional.

Governing law and disputes

If there is a conflict between these Terms and specific terms presented for a particular service or promotion, the more specific terms will control with respect to that service or promotion.
