Okay, but what does it actually taste like?
Smooth, naturally sweet and balanced, with notes of chocolate, caramel and hazelnut. Easy enough for every day, interesting enough to notice.
Okay, but is it acidic?
Acidity isn’t the main character here. Born Lucky is smooth, naturally sweet and balanced. Good specialty coffee naturally has a little acidity—it keeps things lively instead of flat. In this one, it’s just hanging out in the background. Think orange, not lemon: a little lift, never a sharp acidic taste.
Can I make it however I want?
Pretty much. Espresso, drip, French press, moka pot, pour-over, iced—with milk, sugar or straight up. No fancy gear required.
So… what makes this coffee different?
We roast it in Colombia, close to where it grows, then air-ship it fresh to New York. Fewer unnecessary stops between the farm and your cup.
How fresh are we talking?
Very. It’s roasted at origin and air-shipped to New York instead of spending months in transit or sitting around in warehouses.
Wait… did you put chocolate in this?
Nope. Nothing added. Chocolate, caramel and hazelnut are naturally occurring tasting notes—they describe what you may taste in the coffee, not added flavors.
Am I stuck if I subscribe?
Never. Skip a shipment, change your frequency, pause or cancel anytime. You’re in charge.
